New Wave Podcast Video showTest

This postings for the testing for video vidcast.

The video for this test is cheesy commercial for Musicland from 1983. Yes Kids there was a time in the 80's when we have to goto the mall to buy music! There were no Napster, P2P Network, BiTtorrent, Piratebay.com, Amazon.com Itunes

And yes the video is encoded badly. I did not encoded this. I found it on soulseek as usual.

commercial - musicland (very 1983, but cool).mpg

'Bots' for Sony CD software spotted online

Bottom line:
The malicious software programs in this case are Trojan horse, or "bot," variants, which are intended to give the attacker remote control of any computer they infect as they hide in Sony's copy protection tool. Security experts say that more such attacks are likely. For Sony, concern over the issue has prompted at least one lawsuit and plenty of criticism.

New Wave Podcast Song of the week #2

From Nine Inch Nails Album -Purest Feeling [1988 Demo]
Maybe Just Once. Enjoy And I better not get sued from the EVIL RIAA for doing these Podcasts!!

03 - Nine Inch Nails - Maybe Just Once

Lyrics to Maybe Just Once.

"Maybe Just Once"

i can't believe that what i feel is really happening to me.
make it hurt.
and point the finger at my insecurities.
well i guess i just don't understand about those complexities in your mind.
and i guess i just don't understand why this world seems so unkind.

[Chorus:]
maybe. maybe just once. i get what's coming.
maybe. maybe just once. i get what's coming to me.

so once again the way you feel will never ever stay the same.
and i'm to blame.
i wonder just who made the rules up for this game.
well i guess i just don't understand about what you want and what you need.
and i guess i just don't understand about how it has to be.

[Chorus]

you sat down on this bed and you said
"Christ, what the hell do you think this place is?"
you know.
he just couldn't believe it!
and i said
"i don't know but it sure is something different"

so go ahead.
you say those thousand things you think you have to say.
look at me.
and tell me love's not such a hard word anyway.
well how can you count on me i thought you realized for sure.
and how can you just believe.
i thought i deserved just a little more.

[Chorus]

oh God.
oh what's coming to me.
